We lost another Super Cat. Nutmeg got hit by a car and was put in our yard. He appears to have been hit sometime last night or yesterday afternoon. Danger Boy is taking it hard and keeps crying his eyes out and saying he misses Nutmeg. He wrote Nutmeg a little note that we will put his grave when Paranoid Dad gets home from work (translation "bye bye nutmeg 'signed' vance mommy dad periwinkle).

Awww. I am so sorry to hear about that. Nutmeg was the best with your kids. Sorry that Danger Boy is taking it so hard. The letter is sweet though.

No offense J & L, but I wouldn't feel so bad if that happened to your evil, satanic cat. That cat scares me. But I still love you!
Not that I'd be HAPPY for your cat to die in a painful way, I just wouldn't be terribly mournful. I'm digging a pit aren't I? I would feel bad for YOUR feelings. How's that? Do you hate me now?

I'm pretty sure most people were not sorry to see my other cat, Slinkerton, pass away since most people who encountered her had a pretty scar to prove it! I still loved her lots too though.
I know how you feel. Pets become part of your family. We are watching chloe get old and are dreading the day when she goes. Sorry for the loss of nutmeg.
