With the advent of my return to my martial arts class this week, the fact that my daughter's Dora doll is the size of a child caught my attention and I had the kids practice some grappling on her. Dora, of course, was thrilled. ("¡VĂ¡monos!" she said.)
Here Quisqueya, with some help, demonstrates "the guard."
Superheroes use "street grappling." Quisqueya holds her opponent in "the guard" while poking her in the eyes.
Dora made a grave grappling error by turning her back to Vance. He quickly took advantage by putting her in his guard and applying a rear naked choke. Dora tapped out.
Demonstrating more "street grappling," Vance hits Dora with a palm strike from a superior "mount position."
Dora was extremely helpful, but she seemed a little worse for wear after a sparring session with
Danger Boy and Kid Catastrophe!!!

hilarious! good to know our superheroes are keeping up with their grappling!
I'm feeling a little sad for Dora now. If she wasn't so cute I might feel differently. Where's the Ugli doll?
Erik exaggerates, because I know Quisqueya was more cuddling Dora in most places, and not actually attacking her. Dora is very well loved, Mary, no fear!
This is totally cracking me up!
And not really being a Dora fan myself... I have no pity to spare her...
Justice can't walk by one of those concrete barrier post things in a parking lot without double punching and front snap kicking it, yelling "KEYOP!"
Incidentally, I bet Koreans think we sound retarded yelling "YELL!" in Korean.
Dora deserves to be poked in the eye.
It's worse, Renae. We are yelling "spirit meeting!"
