Holy Super Cat Danger Boy!
I was starting to feel sorry for our newest cat, Nutmeg, because Vance was pestering her endlessly when he got home from school. He would carry her everywhere, bury her under stuffed animals, hide her under blankets, and constantly was trying to put his fingers in her mouth. Then I realized something...
This cat LIKES the boy! She jumped up on the couch to be closer to him, she follows him when he goes outside, she wants to go where he goes. She even slept on his bed with Vance for three hours after Vance fell asleep the other night. This cat is definitely a SUPER CAT!!

aw, that's so cool! cloud is definitly MY cat. she tolerates the kids very very well, but when it comes to the one she loves, that's me.

My other cats DO NOT tolerate my kids, and seem to see them as intruders. I was not aware cats like Nutmeg existed, which is probably why I call her "super cat". She is like a puppy that just wants endless attention, and Vance sure gives that to her!

I love your blog, timpani! Your kids are cute! So, we have an outdoor tomcat named Luke, after Luke Skywalker. He is very tolerant of my boys and lets them pretty much do whatever they want to him. he's a super kitty as well! :)

I would make Nutmeg an outside cat, but I was overruled by Erik :P
I think outdoor cats are fun, but they generally do not live as long as indoor cats.
